Website Freightos

Discover smooth shipping with the online freight revolution

Freightos is bringing freight online with the world’s largest global freight marketplace. Almost everything we eat, wear or use is shipped or flown by the global freight industry, but its technology is stuck in the ’90s….and we’re changing that. Beyond helping thousands of top tier companies worldwide, we’ve raised nearly $100 million from investors like GE Ventures, the Singapore Exchange and Aleph, and have gotten the BBC, TechCrunch, and the Wall Street Journal excited in the process.

Freightos is building the world’s largest global freight marketplace and it takes a lot of moving parts. We’re looking for a brilliant software engineer with a passion for automation and optimization of complex systems. As an Integration Developer, you’re the Superglue that brings it all together. But keeps things moving too. You get the picture.

As a Cargo Integration Commander, you’ll build the automation systems used by Freightos Operations, Sales and Support teams at each step of the customer lifecycle, eradicating manual processes like an efficiency Terminator
You’ll integrate our life like a champ, by analyzing, designing, developing and testing process flows in support of multiple business projects using integration technologies.
It doesn’t end with your code though, of course. You’ll contribute throughout the development and deployment cycle across the R&D organization.
Freight never slows down or, gasp, stops; our SDEs participate in the on-call rotation and you will too.

You say you have skills. A university or college should too. We’re looking for a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
You love objects. Or, at least, orienting yourself to objects, with excellent programming skills in Java or an OO programing language.
Everyone needs a snake. Working experience in coding with Python or with other scripting languages is very welcome.
Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize workload. It’s not like you’d want to only focus on one project for the rest of your life, right?
Must be fluent in English with excellent reading, speaking and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with BPM design and modeling is a strong advantage.
Good knowledge of Google/AWS cloud infrastructure and platforms.
Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases. Relatively speaking, of course.
Experience in User Interface design & development – such as HTML5, Angular.
