4x Growth In Startup Funding
Jerusalem startups raised 4x funding in the past 5 years compared to the 5 years before. This adds to another 4x jump in funding between 2012-2015 - overall 16x since we got started: from around $250M per 5 years to $4B

#2 In Israel by # of tech companies
but not by number of employees: a new Israel Innovation Authority graph shows that with more than 600 tech companies and 20,000 tech employees, Jerusalem in 2022 has about 2x the number of companies as Haifa, but 3x fewer employees. This is due to a lack in large companies, and Jerusalem mostly having smaller startups with ~10 employees
Apple Opens Jerusalem R&D Center
